Business your own mind

Ever wondered which is the most awesome power within your reach, which we mostly fall short of achieving…Still wondering? Well that means you possess that power, you just don’t know how to use it. It’s the human mind. The most complicated yet marvellous miracle working power machine, known, yet mysterious than the universe itself. We think we use our brain but it’s just the other way round. Thinking what I am saying? Well according to my experience and observation, whatever decisions we have taken so far in our life consciously, are taken by our sub-conscious mind. This is indeed ironical. Let’s talk about your behaviour with the last person you met today. Do you behave in the same manner with every other person you meet? I don’t know about you but my behaviour changes with every person I meet. It may not change the way I speak or how I speak but it would change the content of my speech without changing any switch. Sometimes we would do things we hate, sometimes we ignore things we

Revenge of the fallen!!

Note: I am not a chauvinist, I respect women and love them. Please don't judge me, and you don't even have to agree with me, you just need to accept it..:p (I am a student of English honours, just needed to clarify that, so that you don't blame my education for the difference I would be stating between men and women in the society, as every text in the course dealth with women empowerment and ya Rahul Gandhi did not do Eng(h)). Anyways don't question me, ask your friend, boyfriend, brother, father or any other male about the content of the blog. There was a time when "women" were suppresed by men, beaten to death, tortured, killed and were treated brutally like animals. I know this is still not over yet, but here, I am not talking about rural area or even the middle age people living in the urban areas. I am specifically talking about the youth living in the metropolitan cities, where men and women both go to office, both party all night, have an independ

Be Practical!

Come on be practical, what will you get by reading this blog? It will waste few minutes of your time, as it may also lead to further thinking which will lead to further waste of time, so be practical and switch off this blog and get on with your "Practical" life. But do think about what does the word practical actually means? As per the dictionary meaning, it means concerned with actual use or practice. Actually let's just leave the dictionary alone, come on be practical, who looks at it other than finding long words which we not so often use or hear in our daily practical life. What does being practical means to you when you tell someone or hear it from someone? It is the most common phrase used by us. Did you became practical by not doing something which was not possible, or did anyone else told you the same so you just passing it on to your next generation? Well let's accept it, you only say it when the other person according to you is talking illogical, talkin

The real cool dude!!

Ever wondered how small things can make your day? A few days back as per my usual routine I came down to take an auto rickshaw to the nearest station, so I waved my hand to a rickshaw, without even knowing what am I getting into. So, while I was getting into this auto I saw that the rickshawala was wearing a biker's glove (you know those cool ones) and I thought he must be high or something. But, when I sat and I noticed a mirror just in front of me, actually when I starting looking around inside the auto I noticed loads of stuff like a magazine stand, newspaper stand, a fan, mobile charger, recharge coupons, speakers, list of emergency numbers, a warm water thermos and it was no longer an rickshaw for me, it was just something else. Just have a look at it...  And guess what, this dude even has a facebook page called 'Cool Rickshaw'. Just imagine! And one of the best quotes I read is below, that to in a city like Mumbai where without money you are nothing, but

My way or the highway!

This is the first time I am going to write about a movie I watched. I thought of writing it before but did not had the time and I also thought that may be later I would be able to connect with it in a better way. There was something intense, something more than a simple story to the movie, 'Highway'. A journey without a destination, a soul without body, a feeling without temptation. What I love about Imtiaz alis' movies, except our common love for mountains, is that how his movies take you on a ride from one place to another and its never the compulsion to move the story but the need of the characters to deal with the situation which moves the story. In real life that is what happens, there is no such destination which we think off. There is an illusion of accomplishment. We never come to know that what we always want to achieve, in a way we have already achieved that, probably not in the sense we thought but in the way it actually is. Highway told the story of two peop

Mess-age!

Always thought you need to behave as per your age? Well the line you are just going to read, you might find it crazy but that's what happened. I had a dream this evening about me, walking around the streets all night and observing people of different ages, how they behave, how they react and the few teachings they gave me. This blog is only a part of that dream. Now just go back to the question I asked you, lets reframe it, do you always like to behave as per your age? or do you like behaving the way society thinks you should behave? who decides at what age what should you behave like? Why are you so amazed when a child replies back with a genius answer which you never thought a child of that age would ? Why do you get irritated when a adult behaves like a child? It all happens just because all these just do not fall into our preconceive notions about human nature.  The more we get sophisticated the older we get, agree? Just look at your grand parents, old aunt or uncles you

AAP ko chahiye MODIfication on Rahul Gandhi...

Image
From the title you would have understood what the blog is about, but you must be wondering why did I choose this title. Well the answer is, my key focus is on three things: Women empowerment Bringing youth into politics means opening up the system and making India the biggest manufacturing country. You still didn't get what I mean? Well I think then you should not ask me superficial questions. Oh, you did not ask any question? then I guess we should only focus on the fundamentals. I know you must be wondering what the hell am I writing. Well the same was my reaction when I saw Rahul Gandhi's interview. In ten long years Rahul Gandhi gives his first interview, that to a journalist like Arnab Goswami (sorry Rahul bad luck) who would not listen to your rubbish unless and until he gets his answer. We know Mr. Gandhi you came fully prepared with your speech but well that's the harsh reality, life does not always go the way you want it to. I also give exams a

Lets learn some ADBC...(Apple Don't Be Cheap)

I know most of my friends will hate me for writing this post, but still I feel its my responsibility to make them realize how genius, intelligent, smart and rich they are, but I don't mean to disturb those who don't use their mind and just buy apple iphone for its operating system and its features. This blog may save some of your money and is obviously free for all the above mentioned genius, intelligent and smart apple users not to forget rich. I know some of them might close this blog after reading the above line, as I mentioned its free so they might think its of no use or may be cheap.(Just don't tell them that Apple has been playing with their mind ;) Who knows what Steve Jobs had in mind when he was doing his innovation, which led to the creation of a brand very popularly known as "Apple", would he have ever thought that people would actually use his product to set their social status. Apple is one product who will even enjoy its customer loyalty eve

Five star Dhaba!

Image
It will surely amuse me and at the same time will irritate me, when people will go to the Dhaba by CLARIDGES, because of their insensibility. Few days backs when I was about to walk into Dlf place saket, I saw a board (above in the picture) and I got so anxious to go to the second floor just to checkout its prices because I wanted to prove myself right, which I did. I know that's crazy but more crazier are those people who will be going to this so called Dhaba and with joy will tell their friends, family whatever, that they just had a lunch at a Dhaba, just because it sounds "cool".  Now lets get a reality check, you went to a dhaba, which was actually not a dhaba but a five star restaurant named dhaba. Now what is a dhaba? (the way it actually is and will be) A dhaba is indeed a restaurant but more in a village sense, found on highways, open air with few tin sheds, no guarantee of hygiene, only guarantee of good food and taste(the only reason people go there) wh

What the FE (facebook empathy)?

This blog is completely coming out of frustration, irritation, anguish and out of a big curiosity. How the hell do you understand what I am feeling without seeing my emotions and sometimes even without emoticons and what if I haven't written the words above to describe it, would you have still been able to figure how am I feeling? If yes, then my friend you are suffering from a serious infectious problem called 'the Facebook empathy'! You are not my friend because I haven't tagged you in my status, even if I have, then you are not my best friend because I have tagged other people as well and even If I haven't tagged other people but just you and still I haven't replied to your comment then I don't care about you. Is it??? Or wait, I liked a friend status but not your, that means I am not your friend but even if I liked it, toh kya hua? everyone liked it...so commenting on it might make a difference. Is it? Or wait a second, here is one more, You came
