The Invisible Cage...
Did you ever wonder what is that something which stops you? which limits you? which make you decide what is wrong and what is right? why we have stopped analyzing things in terms of black and white, why gray is the only colour we choose?
let me put this into broader terms, do you see the cage, inside which we are living? the cage in which we are trapped under the shackles of race, colour, gender, nationality, culture, religion, education and what not. Each and every time there is a situation in front of us where we need to choose one path, do we choose that path due to our wish? or our family's? or our society's wish? lets pick up the most common example, a woman in our Indian society, why is there a time limit set to every girl by there family if she is going out, why do we watch them with eyes full of hunger, what changes are attitude towards a female gender, why one male with several females friends and one female with several male friends does not give us the same feeling?
All this is just there in our mind boss, nothing will happen if you throw some people out of the society until you change your mind set. all the change which is needed is within. The reasons of our activities is hidden in our culture, our history. what elder say might not be right every time. Culture, traditions and norms should be according to the time, and we should not be living that time according to those norms. We disrespect our woman without any reason, as it is infused in our veins, it is taught in our very own religion did you ever notice that? Sita was abandoned by lord ram when she was having the baby in her wound, He doubted her just by listening to the story of another man. Was that right? may be not but still a mother tells her daughter to be sita, this is may be because she was not revolting, may be because what the husband say is always right. There are small small things in our life that make our personality, make us the man we are, so be wise when you choose those small small things to affect you as person. Next time try not to stare at a woman when she passes by, respect her because she gave you birth, you are the part of her body only.
SO LETS MAKE THEM FEEL THAT THERE IS NO CAGE, THERE IS JUST ONE MISSION TO BE ACCOMPLISHED AND THAT IS EQUALITY!
